The Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (PDRO) is in charge of the voting station. They know what each job at the station needs. The PDRO:

• supervises everyone,
• deals with candidates and observers,
• organizes deliveries and materials,
• maintains the secrecy of the vote, and
• makes sure everything runs smoothly.

The Assistant Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (APDRO) helps the Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (PDRO) by:

• assigning breaks, 
• tracking ballots,
• setting up and taking down the voting station, and
• checking that everything is done correctly.

If the PDRO is away, the APDRO takes over their tasks.

The Deputy Returning Officer (DRO):

• helps voters fill out their voter statement,
• checks identification, and 
• gives out ballots.

The Information Officer (IO):

• greets voters,
• tells the Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (PDRO) or Assistant Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (APDRO) if a voter needs help,
• manages lines, and
• answers questions.

The Ballot Box Officer (BBO):

• helps voters put their ballots in the box,
• keeps the ballot boxes secure, and
• thanks voters for voting.

The Mobile Team includes the Mobile Presiding Deputy Returning Officer and the Mobile Deputy Returning Officer (DRO). The Mobile Team goes to care facilities and shelters to help residents vote. They need to have their own vehicle and cell phone. They do the same jobs as the Presiding Deputy Returning Office (PDRO) and Deputy Returning Officer (DRO). A Stand-by Worker is ready to fill in if another election worker cancels at the last minute. They must be ready to go to the assigned location on short notice.
