Activating spaces
As the single largest infrastructure project in our City's history, Phase 1 of the Green Line LRT is a mega construction project. While the City has acquired the land necessary for the station areas and track guideway, we are finding creative ways to enliven the spaces and enable grass roots projects and organizations to test new ideas until required for construction.
The Green Line team was busy this summer supporting community events along the Phase 1 project alignment. It was great to connect with stakeholders to provide updates on the project and answer their questions. We enjoyed lending a helping hand to and adding to these great events to bring community together.
