How to dispose
There are two ways to dispose of pizza boxes depending on whether they have a lot or little amount of grease.
Some grease or clean

Put into your blue cart or take to a community recycling depot
Put empty and clean pizza boxes (some grease is okay) for recycling:
- Into your blue cart
- Take to a community recycling depot
A lot of grease, sauce and food chunks

Put into your green cart
Put dirty pizza boxes (dried-on cheese, food chunks, sauce splatters, etc.) into your green cart for composting.
Put pizza liners like corrugated cardboard sheets and parchment paper sheets into your green cart for composting.
Put pizza crusts, chicken wings and food scraps into your green cart for composting.
Special instructions
Put dipping sauce containers and plastic pegs into your black cart.
