Put store bought cookie bags into your black cart as garbage. Remove plastic trays and recycle separately.
Why can't this be recycled?
Cookie bags are often a “multi-material” packaging made up of more than one type of material. The bags use many different layers of plastics, paper and foil to keep your food fresh, but that also means these layers can’t be separated easily. Because of this, manufacturers are not currently able to recycle these mixed-material packages into new products.
