There are two ways to dispose of water and refrigerator filters.

Put water filters, refrigerator filters and similar purifiers into your black cart as garbage.
Participating retailers

Take to a special drop-off location
Some manufacturers may accept their water filters for recycling. Contact the manufacturer of your filter to find out how to recycle their product. Common water filter brands include Greenway, Brondell, EveryDrop, Frigidaire and more.
