Community Standards Fund
We work to promote communities where residents can live side by side safely and respectfully being considerate of the needs and rights of others. We value education, voluntary bylaw compliance, and community-based solutions to local issues.
Calgarians work hard to keep their city clean and safe. To encourage this, we administer the Community Standards Fund. The funding is for communities to undertake projects that assist in ongoing compliance with the Community Standards Bylaw 32M2023.
Projects can be small-scale capital projects or operational projects. Examples include graffiti abatement, litter control, or awareness initiatives. The fund is not intended to support long-term projects or to fund staff positions. The qualification standards are included with the Community Standards Fund Application Package.
The application period for the 2024 Community Standards Fund will open on January 15, 2024 through February 15, 2024. Applications are due by 11:45 p.m. MST on February 15, 2024.
To contact us for general information, questions or comments please call 3-1-1 (from within Calgary) or 403-268-CITY (2489) (from outside Calgary).
