To file an appeal with the Board, you must submit a Notice of Appeal form and pay the $200 appeal fee before the filing deadline. All appellants must identify their names on the Notice of Appeal form.
To file an appeal online, you will need to fill out this Notice of Appeal form. You will need a free MyID account in order to pay the appeal fee.
When filing a Notice of Appeal online, the appeal fee must be paid by credit or debit card.
If you have a problem filing a Notice of Appeal online, please contact the Board at 403 268 5312 or email info@calgarysdab.ca. The Board’s office is open on business days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Support will not be available outside those times.
To file a Notice of Appeal in person or by mail, print and complete the Notice of Appeal form.
When filing a Notice of Appeal in person or by mail, the filing fee must be paid by cash or cheque.

Notices of Appeal may be delivered in person to the Board’s office or the Municipal Building
During office hours, please bring the Notice of Appeal form and filing fee to the Board’s office on the 4th floor. Outside of office hours, place the Notice of Appeal form and filing fee in the dropbox on the first floor of the building. This is located in the back hallway (past the elevators) near the postal mailboxes. Place the Notice of Appeal and fee in an envelope clearly marked with the appellant's name, contact information, and date they are being submitted.
If you choose to mail your Notice of Appeal and filing fee, you are responsible for ensuring that they are received by the Board before the filing deadline.
