July 2024 Newsletter
Howdy!
While everyone is busy at BBQs, pancake breakfasts, and otherwise enjoying the festivities that come with the greatest outdoor show on earth, things tend to slow down a bit in downtown Calgary.
Unlike most years, this world-renowned party was not guaranteed to go ahead in 2024. All of you deserve a huge THANK YOU for your efforts to conserve water. I am looking forward to the results of the independent investigation into how our biggest water pipe caused our water shortage.
I have a brief update for you this July and then you can get back to giddying up.
Tune in to the new City of Calgary podcast
Calgary is one of Canada's fastest-growing cities, and City of Calgary is building to meet the needs of our expanding population, striving to create a vibrant, affordable place for soon-to-be two million residents.
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make this happen. That’s why The City of Calgary is introducing a new podcast called Calgary Conversations, an insider pass to the heart of Calgary’s City Hall.
Through engaging interviews with City staff and partners, in-depth analysis, and compelling storytelling, Calgary Conversations offers a fresh perspective on the issues that affect us all.
Tune in, subscribe, and join the conversation. Because in Calgary, every voice matters. Let's write the next chapter together. #CalgaryConversations
