Cats available for adoption

How much does it cost?

The adoption cost is $169 + GST, which covers: 

  • spay or neutering surgery
  • microchip implant for identification
  • a six-month City of Calgary licence
  • first set of vaccinations
  • de-worming
  • a bag of pet food
  • an adoption kit

Animal Services also offers a Seniors for Seniors adoption program with special pricing options.

Please note: adoptable animals are not available for adoption of viewing in the hour before the Centre closes. The list is updated every 15 minutes during business hours.

We’re rolling out the red carpet for some very special stars—our Hidden Gems! These are the wonderful cats and dogs who’ve been with us for a little longer than most and while they’ve been patiently waiting, we think it’s time they got their moment to shine.

To help these lovable animals find their forever homes, we’re offering them at a special adoption price: $84.52 + GST
