Anderson Road S.E. Paving
Project update – November 2025
Work on Anderson Road S.E. is moving ahead and nearing completion for the season. The new traffic lights at Acadia Drive are in place and all concrete work is done. Crews have finished pavement milling and the first layer of asphalt on Anderson Road.
The section between Bonaventure Drive and Acadia Drive has been widened and is now open to traffic. A new third eastbound lane east of Acadia Drive is also open. About 200 metres of full roadway reconstruction in this area has been completed. The new dual left-turn lanes from eastbound Anderson Road onto northbound Bonaventure Drive are open and in use.
The Anderson Road S.E. paving project includes fixing the road surface, as well as replacing sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. These improvements will make the area safer and easier to use for people walking, biking, or using mobility aids.
