Effective July 2, indoor water-saving measures have eased. Outdoor Water Restrictions and fire ban remain in place. The city remains in a State of Local Emergency.
A natural outdoor area for the community to gather. It features a multi-level deck for unstructured, natural play, and seating. Tree stumps provide climbing options and additional seating. Children and families can enjoy the cove while visiting the Leisure Centre.
Access to the Cove is free to the public during business hours.
Community Cove is part of the Community Hub initiative. The City of Calgary partnered with the United Way of Calgary and Area. Thanks to Alberta Blue Cross and the United Way for their contributions.

We are happy to share that indoor water saving measures have been eased and we are resuming many of our regular operations indoors.
Ice rinks and showers are open.
Today - Indoor pools are reopening. Ice and water-based programming, including drop-in and swimming lessons, will proceed as scheduled.
Our priority is to open ice rinks, pools and showers. The opening of additional amenities such as play structures, hot tubs, steam rooms, waterslides and kiddie pools may be delayed.
