Special truck route permit

This permit will be issued for trucks that need to travel on restricted roads due to special circumstances. Please see the Truck route map for more information on locations of restricted roadways.

Once the permit is approved, only a letter granting approval will be issued to the organization requesting the permit.

How to apply

Call 311 to submit a permit application. If you are outside of the city limits call 403-268-2489.

Permit cost

There is no fee associated with the special truck route permit.
