How to dispose
There are two ways to dispose of drink pouches depending on whether you want to receive a refund or recycle at home.
Return for a refund

Take to a special drop-off location
Recycle drink pouches at an Alberta Bottle Depot to get a refund on any applicable deposit paid at the time of purchase.
Recycle at home

Put into your blue cart or take to a community recycling depot
Put drink pouches for recycling:

- Take to a community recycling depot
Special instructions
Make sure to remove any straws before recycling. This does not include pouches that have a built-in plastic spout.
