There are two ways to dispose of fireplaces depending on whether they are usable or unusable.
Usable fireplaces

Take to a special drop-off location
Some private companies may accept reusable building materials such as fireplaces. Check options like Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Unusable fireplaces

Take to a City Eco Centre
Take broken or unusable electric and gas fireplaces to a City Eco Centre for disposal – charges will apply.
