There are three ways to dispose of hardwood and laminate flooring depending whether you have small or large quantities.
Small quantities of hardwood and laminate flooring

Put into your black cart
Put small quantities of hardwood flooring and laminate flooring into your black cart as garbage.
Pieces must be less than:
- 15 cm (six inches) in diameter
- 1.25 m (four feet) in length
- Make sure the lid of your cart can close
Large quantities and oversized hardwood and laminate flooring

Take to a special drop-off location
Some private companies may accept reusable building materials - check options like Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Take to a City Eco Centre
Take large quantities of flooring and oversized pieces of flooring from a renovation or demolition to a City Eco Centre for disposal – charges will apply.
