Inglewood Bird Sanctuary Wedding
The Walker House at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary provides a unique natural setting for your wedding, encompassing 36 hectares of tranquil wilderness only minutes from downtown Calgary.
Located along the Bow River, the park is ranked as one of Calgary’s top 20 attractions by TripAdvisor reviewers. Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is the only federally designated migratory bird sanctuary in North America with special protection rights.
The Walker House was built in 1910 and was the home of Colonel James Walker, one of the city’s most important early civic leaders. One of only two remaining homesteads in Calgary’s inner city, this brick house and its lawn are elegant venues for ceremonies and receptions.
The Walker House Lawn and classroom are only available May 1 to September 30. Bookings are accepted up to one year in advance.
