Credit and Collections
Credit and Collections is responsible for the collection of City of Calgary receivables, including Business Improvement Area (BIA) tax, property tax, and corporate invoices, as well as accepting and evaluating credit for customers that regularly utilize City services.
- The Alberta Municipal Government Act (MGA), regulations and City of Calgary bylaws provide the legislative authority to impose collection activity.
- A collection officer will take appropriate action as necessary to collect the balance in full.
