Calgary's Community Associations are vital in creating and sustaining communities in our city. With more than 150 Community Associations, Calgary has a diverse group of more than 20,000 volunteers who support community programs, events, safety and development initiatives.

Our Community Associations are celebrated annually in March! Calgary’s Mayor proclaimed Community Association Awareness Month.

Neighbourhood Partnership Coordinators (NPCs) work with Community Associations to:

  • Support Community Association organizational development and sustainability
  • Provide support for Community Assocation building projects
  • Connect communities with resources
  • Support and foster positive relationships between The City and its community partners
