Housing Needs Assessment
The latest data published in The City of Calgary’s 2023 Housing Needs Assessment shows that an increasing number of Calgarians are struggling with housing affordability.

Citizen Satisfaction Survey
The City conducts an annual Fall Survey of Calgarians to gather views about living in Calgary. 31% of Calgarians feel that homelessness, poverty and affordable housing is the most important issue for them when surveyed.

Housing Data Dashboard
The City of Calgary monitors a variety of metrics to maintain a pulse on the housing market as well as performance measures related to actions being implemented in The City's Housing Strategy.

- Housing Needs Assessment 2018 - The report examines the current and predicted future need for affordable housing in Calgary.
- Non-Profit Affordable Housing Land Survey – July 2018 - In May and June 2018, The City of Calgary conducted an online survey of non-profit affordable housing organizations relating to their future land needs.
- 28 organizations participated in the survey. The results of the survey are presented in this report.
- Housing in Canada's Big Cities - This report is the result of research conducted by The City of Calgary's Affordable Housing division and provides comprehensive data on Calgary's housing supply compared to other major Canadian cities.
