Calgary’s community profiles provide information about the population living in private households in each community from the 2021 Census of Canada, also referred to as the Census of Population.

The Census of Canada is conducted every five years, with the next census taking place in 2026.

These profiles were created using data accessed through the Community Data Program.

If you have questions about the Community Profiles, please email socialresearch@calgary.ca.

Information about Calgary and Calgary's wards is also available.

The data in these profiles only includes the population living in private households (residents of collective dwellings such as health care facilities, shelters, and school residences are excluded).

Please note, tables in the community profiles are presented in a standardized format. In cases, where the value is zero, or not available from Statistics Canada, the table row remains, but the cells are left blank.
