Timely response

We are working to address crime and concerns immediately in Calgary

When we experience or witness criminal or dangerous behaviour our teams of bylaw, transit and police officers are there for protection. They are also there when people are exhibiting dangerous, unsafe behaviour.

Additionally, in March 2024, a group of downtown leaders (the Downtown Safety Leadership Table) released 28 recommendations to support safety and vibrancy in Calgary’s downtown. A number of those recommendations were related to enforcement.
