With over 200 festivals and events happening downtown this summer, the heart of our city will be bursting with energy, entertainment and community pride as we kick off a summer packed with fun, local talent and memory-making events.

Seconds Collective Vintage Market: Seconds Saloon

Seconds Collective is a second-hand market that does pop ups all over the city. Their goal is to empower individuals to buy, sell, and trade quality pre-owned textiles. This calm, cool, collective emphasizes the power of community to create a greener, more responsible and unique consumer culture.
Beaulieu Flower & Artisan Market
The Beaulieu Flower & Artisan Market is back and blooming once again! The South Lawn at Lougheed House will be full of flower vendors, artisans, and folks selling plant accessories. Browse the market, take part in a free workshop, and explore the museum with free admission for all!
Ultimate Summer Party
Celebrate the joy of reading at the Calgary Public Library’s Ultimate Summer Party! Visit any Library location for a fun-filled day of storytimes, dancing, and special activities for the whole family.

Paws & Pints
Drop by the perfect pathway pit stop with the whole family – babies and furbabies alike! The Confluence “paw-tio” is decked out with comfy seating and serving tasty drinks and snacks this summer!
403Market Summer Edition
From June through August, this lively artisan market lights up The Confluence with a curated selection of local vendors showcasing pottery, woodwork, textiles, gourmet treats, and more.

The Sidewalk Series
Introducing a brand-new component of the annual Summer on 17th lineup - local talent popping up in unexpected places all summer long!

Calgary Folk Music Festival
This popular festival takes place on beautiful Prince’s Island Park with 70 artists, performing on five daytime and two evening stages. Regular festival goers enjoy setting up camp right in front of the main stage with blankets, low-rise lawn chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy the festival atmosphere.
Inglewood Sunfest
Celebrate the best of summer in the heart of Inglewood. The Inglewood Sunfest offers something for everyone, from 200 vendors offering artisan crafts and imported wares to live performances, world-class circus acts, comedy street shows, bouncy castles, and more. There’s so much to watch, partake in, sample, and enjoy.
Lougheed House 20th Anniversary
Celebrate Lougheed House’s 20th anniversary as a museum with this themed trivia night featuring local lore and international rounds. Bring a team, enjoy drinks & snacks for purchase, and compete for a gift card to Last Best Brewing. Adults only (18+).
