Landfills and Eco Centres- 2024 statutory holiday schedule

Below you will find the operating schedule for The City of Calgary's landfills and Eco Centres during statutory holidays.

For hours of operation during regularly scheduled days, please visit the Calgary landfill and Eco Centre hours and locations page.

Commercial waste

Commercial waste customers must go to East Calgary or Spyhill facilities.

The Shepard landfill facility accepts industrial (landfill) and residential (Eco Centre) waste year-round. They do not accept commercial waste.
