There are three ways to dispose of cabinets and drawers.

Usable cabinets and drawers

  • Extend the life of this item by reusing, selling, or donating

Reuse cabinets and drawers by:

  • Giving to family and friends
  • Posting on online websites like Facebook Marketplace

Donate usable cabinets and drawers to local charities. Contact your preferred charity to confirm what type of donations they are accepting. Options include: 

Small quantities of cabinets and drawers

  • Put into your black cart

Put unusable cabinets and drawers into your black cart as garbage.

Pieces must be less than:

  • 15 cm (six inches) in diameter
  • 1.25 m (four feet) in length
  • Make sure the lid of the cart can close

Large quantities of cabinets and drawers

  • Take to a City Eco Centre

Take unusable cabinets and drawers from a renovation or demolition to a City Eco Centre for disposal – charges will apply.
