Calgary is the fourth most common destination for newcomers to Canada. Each year newcomers from around the globe choose our city as their new home. Their diverse cultures and communities have helped create Calgary’s identity.

Whether you’re from Winnipeg or China, Toronto or India, we provide a number of services to help newcomers feel welcome and settle into their new home.

For all general information relating to the services we provide, connect with us by dialing 3-1-1. Our 3-1-1 telephone agents have access to a language translation service that can assist citizens with requesting City of Calgary information or services. This translation service provides support in more than 200 languages.
