Calgary Farm Stands, 2025
Fresh, local food is coming right to your neighbourhood! I’m excited to share that The City of Calgary’s Farm Stand Program is returning for another season—bringing the best of Alberta farms directly into our communities.
Since 2017, this program has connected Calgarians with incredible local and regional growers. This year, nine local farmers and vendors will be setting up shop at over 30 farm stand locations across the city, offering up everything from crisp veggies and juicy berries to homemade jams, baked goods, and more.
But farm stands are about more than just good food—they’re about connection. You get the chance to meet the folks who grow your food, ask questions about how it’s produced, and support small, local businesses while you do it. It’s a simple, meaningful way to support our local economy and enjoy nutritious food that’s as fresh as it gets.
Farm stand hours vary depending on the location, but most will run once a week for a few hours, starting between May and June. Whether you’re picking up ingredients for dinner or just stopping by to say hello, I encourage you to check one out this season.
Let’s continue building a stronger, more resilient Calgary—one local purchase at a time.
