Happy Stampede, Ward 2!

As Calgary comes alive with the spirit of the Stampede once again, I want to wish everyone in Ward 2 a joyful and safe celebration. It is a true pleasure to take part in this longstanding tradition, which has brought our city together for over 100 years, celebrating western heritage, community pride, and shared experiences.

Following closely on the heels of Neighbour Day, Stampede offers another meaningful opportunity to connect with those around us. Before many head off for summer vacations, and during the short but beautiful summer season we enjoy here in Calgary, it is especially valuable to gather, reconnect, and celebrate together as a community.

I will be attending several local community events throughout Stampede, and I would be delighted to see you there. Please feel free to stop by, say hello, and introduce yourself. whether over pancakes or at a community barbecue.
