Benefits of learning wellness and meditation
Our classes are soothing and supportive to the nervous system. With a mindful and intentional approach we can transform our health and wellbeing.
Feel your muscles relax and release the tension in them. Lower your feelings of stress and learn tools for use in everyday life. These activities may also lower your resting heart rate and blood presure.
Winter registration dates
- 6 a.m. — Online (virtual waiting room opens at 5:30 a.m.)

- During business hours — At any City-operated Aquatic & Recreation or Arts facility

Begin to feel more energized through stretching and strengthening exercises built on the Eccentrics® principles. This class is done barefoot.

Prerequisite: None

Be introduced to Neuromuscular Integrative Activity (NIA) movements that combine dance, martial arts and mindfulness to help you feel more connected to your mind, body and spirit. This class is done barefoot.
Age: 13+
Prerequisite: Gentle Fitness 3 - Must be comfortable doing 30+ minutes of continuous, standing activity

Combining dance, martial arts and yoga poses, you will begin to improve your coordination and memory through a unique combination of movements.

Each week, try new meditation and breathing techniques to practice mindfulness and improve your quality of life.
Age: 16+

In this single three-hour workshop, you will be introduced to mindfulness practices like meditation and breathing techniques that will help reduce your overall stress.

Maintain and enhance your flexibility and strength during your pregnancy using wellness-focused Eccentrics® principles. Special focus will be on strengthening the pelvic floor and breathing techniques. This class is done barefoot.

Our wellness and meditation instructors are trained and experienced in the art and science of mind-body practices.
What are classes like?
Classes range in length and style. Our classes are wholistic, supportive, inviting and uplifting. Sessions are unique to the style of class and the subtle differences are experienced based on the instructor and the nature of the program.
