The East Calgary International Avenue Communities Local Area Plan, approved on December 17, 2024, is a comprehensive guide for shaping growth and redevelopment in the East Calgary area. This completed plan ensures that communities along International Avenue remain vibrant, sustainable, and well-connected for residents and businesses.

Neighbourhoods included in the plan are: Albert Park/Radisson Heights, Applewood Park, Dover, Erin Woods, Forest Heights, Forest Lawn, Penbrooke Meadows, Red Carpet, Southview, 09Q and a portion of Golden Triangle.

The East Calgary International Avenue Communities Local Area Plan, was shaped through extensive community engagement.
