A roll number (property) and business identifier (business) is a unique number that corresponds to a physical property location or business. You will need your roll number/business identifier and your confidential access code to use myTax to access detailed information about your property/business and summary information about other properties/businesses*.

*Once you have linked your myID account with your assessment information using your roll number/business identifier and access code, you do not have to repeat this process again, unless there is a change in ownership. For example, even if you receive a supplementary assessment during the year, the access code will be the same as what was on your annual assessment notice. If you lose your assessment notice that has your access code, you can request a copy of your access code by completing this online form.

Where to find your roll number?

Every property has its own unique 9-digit roll number. Find the roll number on your assessment notice, property tax bill, or statement of account.

If you don't have a copy of these documents available, find your roll number and other property details online:

  1. Open the Chatbot, and select Get Specific Property Information
  2. Search by Address, making sure to follow the sample format
  3. Your roll number and other property assessment information will be displayed

Alternatively, you can find your roll number on myTax. It will also show roll numbers for parking and storage units. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit myTax. Under Public Access, click Search, and accept the Terms of Use.
  2. Search by address to find the property.
  3. Select the checkbox beside the property address, then click Export Selected Property Report.
  4. Open the downloaded report to find the roll number at the top

myTax is our online resource for property and business owners to access more detailed information about their assessment and tax information.
