Compensation
Employees receive benefits as outlined in The City of Calgary’s Municipal Employees Benefit Association of Calgary (MEBAC) handbook.
However, instead of Local Authorities Pension Plan, police officers participate in the Special Forces Pension Plan. Officers also receive a negotiated wellness benefit as part of their compensation.
