Ogden Road Realignment
Throughout construction, parking and access to Pop Davies Athletic Park will be maintained, along with vehicle, pedestrian, and cyclist access along Ogden Road and Millican Road. The informal gravel parking along the west side of the current Ogden Road will be permanently removed as part of this work to make room for the new Ogden Road.
Scope of work
In addition to the road realignment, the scope of work includes installing a water mainline, storm and sewer lines, adding a multi-use pathway along the west side of Ogden Road, constructing a new asphalt parking lot with approximately 100 stalls at the south end of Pop Davies Athletic Park, and completing landscaping and other related work.

May 2026 Update
Work continues on the Ogden Road realignment project, with several key activities advancing across the site. Excavation for the stormwater tank in the new parking lot at the south end of Pop Davies Athletic Park is now complete.
Work on the storm trunk line is progressing, with backfilling currently underway. Storm trunk lines play an important role in managing runoff by collecting water from smaller sewer lines and directing it safely to a major outfall.
The project team is also reviewing options for the remaining watermain tie-in at the north end of the project site, which will connect the new infrastructure into the existing system.
The contractor has also adjusted their site setup at Pop Davies Athletic Park to accommodate the recreation season, including providing a revised parking arrangement to help maintain access for sports users while construction continues nearby.
