Scope of work

The Track contract includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Green Line’s light rail track system, covering both the main line and the Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF) and includes:

• Construction of main line track from Ramsay/Inglewood Station to the southern end of the project corridor.
• Construction of track within the MSF, including yard and shop tracks.
• Installation of special track components such as turnouts, crossovers and crossings.
• Installation of track-related infrastructure, including cable containment systems, drainage interfaces and associated equipment.
• Testing and commissioning activities to ensure the track system is safe, reliable and ready for operation.
• Coordination with stations, bridges, utility infrastructure, roads, pedestrian crossings, traction power, communications and signalling systems.

The contractor will also be responsible for temporary works, traffic management, environmental protection measures, noise and vibration mitigation, excavation support, quality control, testing, and overall construction management required to deliver a complete and operational track system.
