Meet the Green Line Community & Business Relations Team!

The Green Line has a team on the ground ready to help you throughout construction. The Community & Business Relations team, who you may have already seen door-knocking in the Beltline, works with stakeholders to make sure they feel prepared and supported throughout construction.

"We are primarily responsible for communicating construction information, but also act as advocates to make sure that stakeholder concerns and needs are heard, and communicated properly back to our construction teams" said Adam Noble-Johnson, Green Line Community Relations Lead.

While there is no way to completely avoid the disruption of a project of this size, Noble-Johnson says, it is important to keep all impacted stakeholders, such as business owners along the Green Line, as informed as possible.

Do you own a business along the Green Line? It takes less than 10 minutes to register your business so we can plan for future construction with your business in mind.

2022 Q1 Construction Update

Beltline Downtown Utilities Relocation Project (BDURP) construction is getting started on the south side of 12 Avenue between Olympic Way S.E. and 6 Street S.E. in late February.

Parts of 12 Avenue S.E. will be closed throughout 2022 to accommodate this work. However, the northern sidewalk of 12 Avenue will remain open to pedestrians throughout construction and there will be various detours in the area to help alleviate traffic. Other anticipated impacts include construction noise, dust and debris in the area and loss of on-street parking.

Make sure to check our website regularly for weekly project updates.
