Meet the Calgarians Building the Green Line – Terry Bateman

Meet Terry Bateman, the Senior Manager of Stations for the Green Line LRT. With over 30 years in the construction field working in various aspects of the industry, his primary responsibilities include looking after the downtown stations and construction tendering process. Currently, he is looking after the Green Line early works to get the grounds and facilities ready to start construction of the stations. 

“In any construction industry the work is very fluid, you get the opportunity to work with different people on different types of projects,” shared Terry about his roles in the construction industry. "You have to be adaptable to all challenges that arise in order to find the proper solution."

Currently the Green Line is in the progress of demolishing three buildings on 11^th Ave in Victoria Park, Harvard Manor, Grendel and Tony's Auto as part of Green Lines early works in preparation for main construction.
