Ramsay Elevated Guideway

Scope of Work

This construction package includes the elevated Green Line guideway between the future Ramsay/Inglewood station and the 26 Avenue Station. Work includes building the elevated rail structure, supporting infrastructure, utility upgrades, road and pathway improvements, and coordinating construction activities with adjacent project components.

Key elements of the work include:

• Construction of the elevated guideway, including piles, piers, abutments, girders, bridge deck, safety barriers, drainage systems, and overhead catenary system (OCS) supports.
• Site preparation and earthworks, including excavation, grading, temporary access roads, traffic management, stormwater management, and dewatering.
• Utility relocations and installations, including duct banks, electrical systems, lighting, grounding, fire and life-safety infrastructure, and drainage connections.
• Roadway, pathway, landscaping, and site servicing improvements.
• Management of temporary construction works, environmental protection measures, noise and vibration mitigation, and laydown areas.
• Coordination with the Blackfoot Trail LRT Bridge contractor and other Green Line construction contracts, including stations, trackwork, signalling, train control, communications, and traction power systems.
• Construction management responsibilities and preparation of the completed guideway for handoff to subsequent track installation work.
