Learning printmaking will help you appreciate the process of creating multiples of an image.
Printmaking lets you explore new ways to express yourself visually by building images with layers and printing them in a series.
As you create pieces from your imagination or real-life inspiration, you can begin to feel more relaxed and improve your mental well-being.

About our art instructors
Our instructors are practicing artists that have formal art training and teaching experience. They offer their expertise in a variety of disciplines and enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities.
Our instructors ensure that classes are always fresh and challenging for new and returning participants. They adapt to students' needs and encourage them to try new ideas and methods.
What are classes like?
You will try various methods to build your images which may include monoprinting, collagraph, etching and/or block printing. Then you will print a collection of them using a traditional print press.
Classes usually begin with a topic discussion and technique demonstrations. Much of the class time will be practicing skills and applying what’s been learned. Class length is determined by age group:
- All adult classes are two and a half-hour long
- Kids and teens classes are 90 minutes long
Come prepared
- Clothing that you can get messy
- Water bottle
Printmaking tools and supplies are included.
