Communities which have completed a local area planning process

  • East Calgary International Avenue Communities

    Albert Park/Radisson Heights, Applewood Park, Dover, Erin Woods, Forest Heights, Forest Lawn, Forest Lawn Industrial, Penbrooke Meadows, Red Carpet, Southview, 09Q, and a portion of Golden Triangle. This plan was approved by Council in December 2024.

  • Chinook Communities

    Bel-Aire, Britannia, Elboya, Mayfair, Meadowlark Park, Parkhill, Windsor Park, Manchester, a south portion of Manchester Industrial and a small eastern portion of Glenmore Park. This plan was approved by Council in April 2025.

  • Heritage Communities

    Eagle Ridge, Kelvin Grove, Kingsland, Fairview, Haysboro, Acadia, Southwood, Willow Park, Maple Ridge and Chinook Park. This plan was approved by Council in September 2023.

  • North Hill Communities

    Highland Park, Mount Pleasant, Tuxedo Park, Winston Heights-Mountview, Crescent Heights, Renfrew, Rosedale, Capitol Hill, and Thorncliffe Greenview (south of McKnight Blvd.). This plan was approved by Council in December 2022.

  • Riley Communities

    West Hillhurst, Hounsfield Heights/Briar Hill, Hillhurst, and Sunnyside. This plan was approved by Council in March 2025.

  • South Shaganappi

    Montgomery, Point McKay, Parkdale, St. Andrews Heights, University Heights, University District, Varsity, Banff Trail and The University of Calgary. This plan was approved by Council in March 2025.

  • Westbrook Communities

    Wildwood, Spruce Cliff, Westgate, Rosscarrock, Shaganappi, Glendale, Killarney/ Glengarry, Glenbrook and the portions of Upper Scarboro/Sunalta West and Richmond that are west of Crowchild Trail. This plan was approved by Council in April 2023.

  • West Elbow Communities

    Altadore, Bankview, Cliff Bungalow, Elbow Park, Erlton, Garrison Woods, Lower Mount Royal, Mission, Rideau Park, Roxboro, Scarboro, South Calgary, Sunalta, Upper Mount Royal, the portion of North Glenmore Park north of Glenmore Trail SW, and the portion of Richmond east of Crowchild Trail SW. This plan was approved by Council in May 2025.
